EMDY EMDY is my latest musical project, from 2024 onwards. EMDY is about bringing the radical exploration of 70s Prog Rock into contact with twenty first century dance and electronica. The debut album "Enchantment" is recorded and is being released in 2025.

SingZing SingZing is a mobile app (iOS, Android) which offers a new way to improve your singing, through an ever changing selection of daily vocal exercises. I came up with the idea, led the project, and was the main developer/ coder.

Sub Machine From 2017 and 2024 Sub Machine was my musical focus. It started out as a drums / bass live duo (Royal Blood meets Talking Heads), and then mutated from there. I continue to release the occasional song as Sub Machine.

Philosophy of History Books and articles published between 1998 and 2012; a time which spanned my PhD in the philosophy department of University of Sheffield, through to my lecturing positions at the Universities of Nottingham and Leeds.

Piano Sessions A long held dream of mine has been to offer piano session work to other musical artists - and I'm finally doing it. Here you'll find some samples and some wonderful testimonials.
